This is my 2nd year at Parker Core Knowledge. The first year I was a Resource Teacher and now I am excited to be a part of the 5th grade team! I was a previous high school electives teacher for 2 years and taught subjects from Student Council, French, Journalism, to Technology, Photography, etc. I have a B.A. in Letters, a degree that focuses on literature, writing, history, and languages. I learned French, Arabic, and Latin. I also have a M.A. in Elementary Education and a Publishing Certificate.
This year I will be one of the homeroom teachers in 5th grade, teaching Language Arts, Math, and Science. I am passionate about student growth and sparking individual curiosity in the world around us. I cannot wait to start this year with your student and help them wonder about the world around them.
Personally I am an avid hiker, writer (having written and self published my own book), artist, traveler, fisher, reader, and photographer. I am also a Colorado native and proud of it!
