Hi! Welcome to 5th Grade. My name is Hanna Beckstrom and I can't wait to learn together. Here is a bit about me...

I attended DCSD schools K-12, graduating from Chaparral High School in 2015. I then moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University (go rams!). In 2019, I graduated from CSU with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. By this point, I knew I wanted to be a teacher and decided to continue my higher education at CSU. In May 2020, I completed my graduate program, earning a teacher licensure and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and Human Resources.

At PCK, I was hired as a Tier Two Interventionist & then moved into 5th grade in November 2020. I am so excited to start my fourth year in 5th grade!

This year I will teaching Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your student and learn together this year.

Ryan and I love to camp with friends. This was at Green Mountain Reservoir.

My family & I went to Paris in January & I got to see the Mona Lisa, my dad took this pic for my students! It was so cool!

My husband, Ryan, and are high school sweathearts and now live in Centennial. Last year, we adopted the cutest pup, Frankie! Fun fact, Mrs. DeHaan’s dog, Dovah, and Frankie are sisters. We are crazy dog people and our world revolves around her. We love to travel, watch football, spend time with our friends, and try new restaurants together. We are lucky enough to live by our families and spend time with them frequently.

In addition to teaching, I coach girls & boys volleyball here at PCK. Personally, I love spending time with family & friends, reading, working on puzzles, and testing out new recipes. I’m very much looking forward to learning with you and your student! It’s going to be a great year!
